Welcome to Madcaps
Family-run childcare with a real sense of community since 1995
Established in May 1995, Madcaps is a family-run childcare setting providing a welcoming, fun and caring environment for children up to the age of 11.
With three generations of our family currently working at Madcaps, we are proud of the strong sense of family that runs through everything we do. In fact, some of our staff members were once children at Madcaps themselves! We love seeing families return to us and being part of children's lives as they grow.
Open all year round
Madcaps is open 7.30am – 6.00pm term-time Monday to Friday, including most school holiday dates when our opening hours are 8.00 - 5.00pm. During term time, we provide collections from Market Deeping Community Primary School and William Hildyard School.
During the school holidays, children from all schools are welcome to join us.
Fun, activities and adventures
We believe that childcare should be about much more than simply keeping children safe and occupied. We endeavour to provide quality care alongside plenty of fun, creativity and excitement.
Throughout some school holidays, we run a variety of craft activities, themed workshops and special events, giving children opportunities to try new things, get creative and enjoy spending time with their friends.
During the summer holidays, Madcaps also runs the Market Deeping Playscheme on behalf of Market Deeping Town Council. We have also occasionally run the Deeping St James Playscheme, helping us to remain closely connected with the wider local community.

Our aim is to create a setting where children feel safe, happy, valued and excited to come through our doors. With our experience, family values and commitment to quality care, we strive to make Madcaps a place where children can have fun, make friends and create wonderful memories.
