Meals and Snacks
We serve breakfast from 7.30 - 8.30 each day, usually a choice of cereal and toast, occasionally we will have a seasonal alternative.
Snacks during term-time are served straight after school and will be a variety of bread based, pastry, cake or savoury hot options like pizza. On Fridays snack is from our tuck shop which provides a chocolate and cake based choice.
Our 2 course hot evening meal is served at 4.30.
During school holidays, we serve snacks both morning and afternoon and these will be chosen to fit with the themes of the weeks, for example, gingerbread men and mince pies during the christmas period. There is always a lot of fruit to choose from too.
Children bring a packed lunch during school holidays.
Our Activities
During our morning session we offer a 'home from home' where children are able to have breakfast, relax and play together.
During the evening sessions we offer a wide range of opportunities including football, basketball, athletics, cricket, den building, rounders, archery, parachute games and other games outside. In the summer, when it is really hot, we often have water based games outside!
Inside we offer a wide range of crafts and creative opportunities, including cookery, card making, screen printing, face painting, painting, clay creations, themed craft activities every day, and lots more.
In the school holidays we ask the children to choose the themes and topics based on their interests and then build all our activities around those specific children so that they will get the most out of their time with us.
Occasionally we will go on a trip somewhere, we often go for walks to the park or other places locally.
