Support for Pre school Parents

EYFS explained for parents

You are the most important people in your child's journey through Nursery and School.  We hope parents feel fully involved in a partnership with us to support their children through this important stage of their development.  We like to visit families (Covid permitting) at home and spend some time with you to ensure that our first understanding of your child's needs, interests and abilities are the ones you identify.  We love you to come and visit us and we offer several opportunities for that during the year - we celebrate both Mothers' Day and Fathers' Days with special events and we also like to meet up with you to discuss your child's progress at our parents' days.

We have an open door policy (Covid permitting) and parents are welcome at anytime for visits or to talk to staff.

Children have a Key Worker who will be the liaison person for you and who will soon know your child well and be able to chat about how they are doing or any concerns you may have.

We are always here to support families when they are going through difficult times and need extra support.  If you ever have a concern or need which we may be able to help with, please ask to speak confidentially to either the Manager, Sue or one of the Room Supervisors.

We also love to celebrate special occasions, like new babies or birthdays, with the children, please let us know!
